If I could only get one type of bag, then I would go for a black handbag. If there was some reason that I could only get one big black bag, whether it was because I couldn’t afford more than one, or maybe because I had a limited amount of space, I would always be happy with those black purses.

The reason that suede can be difficult is that you cannot get it wet or get any stains on it or you may as well throw it out. Sure, you can get a black suede handbag with a protectant for it and always be careful when bringing it outdoors, but is that like owning a black handbag, or does that black suede bag own you?
